Middle School is for students aged 11-14. For 14-18 year-olds, please refer to High School.
Woodford's Secondary School (11-18 years old) consists of:
Middle School – Year 6, 7 & 8 (11-14 years old) and
High School – Year 9, 10, 11 & 12 (14-18 years old)
Middle School (Year 6-8) - Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme
The Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme provides a natural progression for children from primary education and builds on and develops their knowledge and skills with a special focus in Mathematics, English and Science. It offers a curriculum framework for educational success for learners, typically 11-14 years old, with an assessment testing structure similar to Cambridge Primary; Progression Tests and Cambridge Checkpoint tests.
Students in Middle School and onwards have specialist teachers for each of their subjects. The subjects that students take in Middle School are: English Language and Literature, Mathematics, Science, Study of Society and Environment (SOSE), Art, Music, Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Mandarin Language, Physical Education, Service as Action.
